@ ইউরোপে উচ্চশিক্ষা ও অভিবাসন - প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্ব @

আসসালামু আলাইকুম । আশা করি আপনারা সবাই অনেক ভালো আছি । ইউরোপের উচ্চশিক্ষা ও অভিবাসন নিয়ে গত পর্বের পর জানতে ছেয়েছিলাম আগামী পর্বে (আজকের পর্ব ) কোন দেশের ব্যাপারে আপনারা জানতে ইচ্ছুক ? সবচেয়ে বেশি রিকোয়েস্ট ও সাড়া পেয়েছিলাম অষ্ট্রিয়া এর ব্যাপারে । যাই হোক অনেক দীর্ঘ প্রতীক্ষার পর আপনাদের সামনে হাজির হলাম । আর একটা জিনিস আপনাদের সব সময় মাথায় রাখতে হবে ইউরোপে সকল কাজের ফাঁকে সময় বের করা কতটা কষ্টকর । তাই আপনাদের জন্য কিছু করতে চাইলেও সময় মত করা হয়ে ওঠে না । সময় সল্পতার কারনে । এই জন্য দুঃখিত । এবার কাজের কথা আসি । প্রথমে দেশ সম্পর্কে দুই চারটা কথা বলে নেই। অষ্ট্রিয়া সেন্ট্রাল ইউরোপের অর্থনৈতিকভাবে শক্তিশালী দেশে গুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম । মাত্র ৮.৫ মিলিয়ন লোকের বসবাস এই দেশটিতে । অফিসিয়াল ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ জার্মান । বেকারত্তের হার ৪.০ % । ১৯৯৫ সালের জানুয়ারী ১ তারিখে ইউরোপিয়ান ইউনিয়ন সদস্য পদ লাভ করে । যারা ইউরোপে উচ্চশিক্ষা নিয়ে ভাবছেন তাদের জন্য অষ্ট্রিয়া হতে পারে এক আদর্শ জায়গা । আমাদের আজকের প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে কোন প্রশ্ন জিজ্ঞেস করার পূর্বে অবশ্যই নিচের তথ্য গুলো এক নজরে পড়ে নিবেন ।

১# অষ্ট্রিয়াতে উচ্চশিক্ষার মাধ্যম হল জার্মান ভাষা, ব্যাচেলর লেভেলে হাতে গুনা কিছু ইউনিভার্সিটি আছে যেগুলোতে ইংলিশে পড়াশুনা করানু হয় । মাস্টার্স, পি এইচ ডি ইংলিশ লেভেলে পড়তে পারবেন ।

২# পড়াশুনা করতে খুবই কম টিউশন ফী লাগে । যার পরিমান পার সেমিস্টার ৪০০ থকে ৮০০ ইউরো। তবে অনেক ইউনিভার্সিটিতে ই কোন প্রকার তুইশন ফী লাগে শুদু মাত্র সেমিস্টার ফী বাবদ ৩৮০.৬৩ ইউরো প্রদান করতে হয় ।

৩# ১২+ (অ্যাকাডেমিক যোগ্যতা ) যে কেউ অষ্ট্রিয়াতে পড়াশুনা করতে পারবে ।

৪# বছরে দুইটা সেমিস্টারচ প্রতি বছর ফেব্রুয়ারী ৫ তারিখ আর সেপ্টেম্বর 5 তারিখ । ( You have send your complete application documents to the university by September 5th at the latest (for the following winter semester) or February 5th (for the following summer semester). These deadlines cannot be extended.)

৫# ইংলিশ মিডিয়ামে পড়তে হলে IELTS/TOFEL এর দরকার হয় । তবে এটা ইউনিভার্সিটি এর পলিসি এর ওপর নির্ভর করে। অনেক ইউনিভার্সিটি আছে যে গুলোতে Placement Test নিয়ে থাকে অনলাইনে । যদি আপনি পাস করে তাহলে আপনার জন্য অফার লেটার ইস্যু করা হবে ।আর ম্যাক্সিমাম ক্ষেত্রে যদি অস্ট্রিয়ান ইউনিভার্সিটি যদি অফার লেটার ইস্যু করে থাকে তার মানে আপনি ভিসা পাচ্ছেন নিশ্চিত যদি অন্যান্য ডকুমেন্টস ঠিক থাকে ।

৬# পর্যাপ্ত ব্যাংক সলভেন্সি দেখাতে হবে (৭০০০-১০০০০ ইউরো )

৭#অনেক ক্ষেত্রে ডকুমেন্টস সত্তায়ন এর ক্ষেত্রে এমব্যাসি থেকে করতে বলা হয়ে থাকে । যদি আপনার ইউনিভার্সিটি সেটা করতে বলে তাহলে কেবল করবেন কেননা এমব্যাসি থেকে ডকুমেন্টস সত্তায়ন এর জন্য তারা আপনার কাছ থেকে টাকা নিবে যার পরিমান ৩০ ইউরো পার পেইজ । 

৮# থাকা খাওয়ার খরচ মাসিক ৩০০ ইউরো এর মত হয়ে থাকে ।

৯# বাংলাদেশে এমব্যাসি না থাকায় ভিসা আবেদন এর জন্য আপনাকে ইন্ডিয়া যেতে হবে । এই ক্ষেত্রে অনেকের প্রশ্ন থাকতে তাহলে ভিসা পেতে কি হার্ড হবে ?না তেমন কিছু না । যদি সব কিছু ঠিক থাকে তাহলে এমব্যাসি আপনাকে ভিসা দিতে বাধ্য । ভয়ের কোন কারন নাই ।

১০# ৫ বছর বসবাসের পর পার্মানেন্ট রেসিডেন্ট পার্মিট আবেদন করতে পারবেন আর ১০ বছর কনটিনোয়াস বসবাসের পর কিংবা ৫ বছর পার্মানেন্ট রেসিডেন্ট পার্মিট বাসিস বসবাসের পর আপনি নাগরিকত্তের (Citizenship) জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন । বিস্তারিত জানতে এইখানে ||http://bit.ly/15gsEm5 ||

All foreign documents need to be legalized in order to be valid in other countries. Documents from Bangladesh must be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh as well as the Austrian Embassy in India or the Austrian Honorary Consulate in Dhaka (email: austriancon@quasemgroup.com).

A legalization in Austria is not possible!

Tuition Fees

There is no Tuition fees in Austrian Universities for Bangladeshi Students (Only Semester fees which is very less), except in University of Applied Sciences.

Language

For programs taught in English generally a proof of knowledge of German is not required. Please keep in mind that the language of instruction is not always apparent on the homepages of the programs!For all other programs at Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences (also those with language of instruction "English and German") knowledge of German is required. Further information about the proof of proficiency in German can be obtained from the university / university of applied sciences concerned. As a rule the level of proficiency required is B2 or C1 of the Common European Reference Framework for languages.Information for exchange students: In many programs with German language of instruction courses in English are also offered!

Semester

The academic year (start: autumn) in Austria consists of 2 semesters.

Joint Degree /Double Degree Program

These are courses that will be studied partly at an Austrian university and partly at a partner university abroad. The programs lead to the conferral of both national degrees (joint degree = conferral of a joint degree or double degree = conferral of degrees of both partner universities).

In Austria these terms are often used synonymously.

Erasmus Mundus

Erasmus Mundus is a co-operation and mobility programme of the EU in the field of higher education. Erasmus Mundus master courses are offered by a consortium consisting of at least three European higher education institutions. They lead to the conferral of a double, joint or multiple academic degree. Students have to study at at least two university institutions.

Please note: Applications may not be addressed to the Austrian university but directly to the consortium. Students will be allocated the place where they will study!

About BLOCK Account:

No BLOCK account needed. Proof of sufficient financial means to finance your stay: students up to 24 years of age have to prove that they have at least 462.60 euros per month, students of 24 years of age or older have to prove that they have at least 837.63 euros per month [as of 2013] – these amounts have to be proved for a maximum of 12 months – e.g. by means of a savings account or a bank account at a bank (the account has to be accessible from Austria) or a (declaration of guarantee) of a person living in Austria or proof of purchase of traveller’s cheques for the necessary amount or a confirmation of the award of a scholarship/grant;

if the costs for accommodation exceed 267.64 euros/month, you have to prove additional funds.
